2024 Korean Culture Festival

The 5th Annual Korean Cultural Festival, hosted by the Oakland & East-Bay Korean American Association, was held on September 6, 2024, in Oakland. With deep gratitude for the Association’s unwavering support and encouragement of Hansamo, our student performers made time in their busy weekday schedules to participate in this event that celebrates and uplifts Korean culture. Under the dedicated guidance of Mr. Sangho Kim, our seated performance team worked hard, adding extra practice sessions to prepare for the show.
Although it was early in the school year and the students were already juggling their academic responsibilities, they came together with enthusiasm. We gathered at the carpool meeting spot, sharing stories and laughter before heading to Oakland. The performance was a meaningful success, and the day became even more memorable as we enjoyed the delicious packed meals thoughtfully provided by the Oakland & East-Bay Korean American Association, sitting along Telegraph Avenue. It was a day filled with pride, teamwork, and cherished memories.
