2024 SUPPORT FOR PLEASANTON VIRTUAL ACADEMY KIMBAP EVENT

On December 6th, 2024, Hansamo supported a special gimbap making and game event hosted by the Pleasanton Virtual Academy (PVA) Korean class. For many years, Hansamo has been a supporter of Korean classes in the Bay Area, contributing through scholarships and cultural events to promote Korean language and culture.

Once again this year, Hansamo provided all the ingredients needed for the gimbap making activity. Parent volunteers from Hansamo generously prepared the toppings, ensuring everything was ready for the students. With Hansamo’s support, students enjoyed an immersive cultural experience, making and eating gimbap alongside tteokbokki while playing Korean-style games together.

What made the event even more meaningful was that students could make extra gimbap to take home and share with their families, spreading the joy beyond the classroom. The event offered a unique opportunity for students to connect with Korean culture through food while feeling the warmth and support of the Korean community.
