San ramon culture in the community festival 2022
On October 16th, Hansamo students performed at the San Ramon Culture in the Community Festival. Hansamo’s Nanta team started the performance by catching visitors’ attention with Korean traditional drums' gigantic and deep sounds. The Dance team continued the performance with their excellent traditional dance skills harmonized with the music. Lastly, the Pungmulnori team performed outstandingly using traditional instruments such as buk, janggu, taepyeongso, and yeoldubal. Hansamo also prepared a Korean booth for visitors to enjoy the festival with much more diverse activities this year. In the booth, visitors could take pictures with the photo frames, and Hansamo students and volunteers participated in writing names for visitors’ in Korean calligraphy. The booth also displayed traditional Korean instrument, accessories, fan, food, and dalgona candies. Visitors could also see and learn the history and present days significance of Korean culture and tradition.
